A new Netflix movie starring Lindsay Lohan is set to shoot in Ireland next month.

According to Western People, ‘Irish Wish’ will shoot in Dublin, Wicklow, Westport, Knock Airport and other locations in Ireland in September.

Set in modern-day Ireland, Lohan plays the lead role of Maddie. The film is set to release on Netflix next year.

Ahead of filming, which is scheduled for September 5 to October 14, Netflix’s casting team is looking for a full-time on-camera body double to play one of the lead characters.

A spokesperson said: “We are currently working on a very exciting project: a romantic comedy called ‘Irish Wish’ which will be filmed in Dublin and Wicklow.

“Applicants must reside in Dublin and be available Monday through Friday (during filming). Acting experience is an advantage as scenes with the main cast are required. Must be at least 18 years old and tall. Female 5’4″, dress size 6-8.

“[Those interested] If selected, must be willing to dye their hair red for the role. ”

Another major Netflix series is currently filming in Dublin, Wicklow and Cork. Bodkin is a comedy in his thriller series, produced by Barack his former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.

This series is the presidential family’s first work on a fictional project.

It’s being produced by Higher Ground, Obama’s company that has multi-million dollar deals with Netflix, Spotify and Amazon.

The series has a well-known cast including Young Offenders actor Chris Walley and Intermission actor David Wilmot.

Comedians Will Forte, Robin Cara and Siobhan Cullen will also appear in the seven-episode series.
