New E39 section in southern Norway opens in November

A new section of the E39 between Kristiansand and Mandal will open in November, Nye Veier announced on Tuesday.

The new road will replace the accident-prone section between Mandal and Kristiansand in Agder.

Work on the section has been underway for four years and the entire section is expected to open to traffic in November, writes the newspaper Avisa Lindesnes.
