Slymaniya: According to local officials, a Katyusha rocket was attacked on Friday near an Emiratis-owned gas complex in northern Iraq.
According to Kurdish security officials, the rocket targeted the Kurdistan Region’s Cole Morgas Complex without injury or damage.
The United Arab Emirates energy company Danagas owns the complex, with a gas field between the cities of Kirkuk and Slymaniya.
On Wednesday, the same facility was targeted by the Katyusha rocket, which was also undamaged and injured.
So far, no group has claimed either attack.
The energy infrastructure of the autonomous Kurdish region of northern Iraq has been repeatedly attacked in recent weeks.
In May, the Kavergosk refinery, northwest of Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan, suffered minor damage.
Three rockets landed near the facility in April with no reported casualties or property damage.
