RACE 1 (1,200M)
(3) LEMME GO is a bit disappointing in that it remains in the virgin rank. She joined trainer Kelly Mitchley. I wouldn’t be surprised if she wins this race.
(2) GLOBAL MARK fought to close out the race, but they have a chance to win.
(8) GLOBETONIC only moved after the debut race. You should be right near the finish.
(14) AIMEE’S IDOL was not ashamed when they first debuted and should improve. should also be considered.

RACE 2 (1,400M)
(1) I’M IN LOVE has been consistent without a win in Gauteng, and if he runs that way he could break the ducks in his local debut.
(2) MI MI APPLE PIE is stable and likely to fight for the finish again.
(5) RIVER BIRCH SHOWED AN IMPROVEMENT ON DEBUT IN THE LAST LAST RUN. She tries grass for the first time. Respect benefits.

RACE 3 (1,400M)
(2) KHAYA’S HOPE had many of these rivals behind him when he recently lost to Port Louis by a narrow margin. He’s well weighted based on his merit rating, but it remains to be seen if he’s as good as that mark suggests.
(4) ZATARA MAGIC looks much better than his last run. He has won well before and deserves respect.
(1) SAND BANK and (5) THEN IN FOCUS were a little disappointing last time, but they could do better.
(9) DOUBLE DESTINY is a decent variety and should contest the finish.

RACE 4 (1,600M)
(1) SANTA THERESE is very good when it’s at its best and came back with great success last time. She can prove tough to beat.
(2) INTEGRITY beat its rival in the penultimate star course and distance. But he got away with the late minutes and they didn’t nail him.
(4) PHOENIX may have been a little further away last time and should be fine this time.
(6) AND WE DANCED and (7) DAME OF FLAMES can both make some money.

RACE 5 (1,600M)
(5) MHLABENI is improving and won well last start. Trainer Duncan McKenzie is in good form and the gelding may continue.
(4) MOON GAME was in good form and was running hard to win the recent start. Danger again.
(1) FERRARI ICE has disappointed in its last two starts. Penalties may have caught up.
(3) STAR OF THE SOUTH was clearly too fast last time I tried it with the turn signal on. This course and distance suit him.
(9) GOLD ROCK is consistent and could make a little more money.

RACE 6 (1,000M)
(3) PRINCESS DEB’S and (4) ANGEL DEB’S are both promising. But this is a very competitive race, so be careful when choosing.
(8) BABY DONT HURRT ME makes its local debut and is close by.
(9) KLASERIE had a good run last time they lost by a narrow margin, and if they repeat that pattern, they have a good chance of winning.
Alan Greeff Yard’s stable companions (2) DELICASEA and (6) RHYTHM OF THE RAIN are good for both course and distance and can make you some money.

RACE 7 (1,200M)
Greef needs a decent race.
(1) WHATEVER NEXT is back to top form after using turn signals and this gelding is good for the course and distance. He’s one of the better guys to come out of the greef barn.
(10) CLIFF TOP, a two-year-old Eastern Cape champion, didn’t disappoint in his comeback. A nice improvement in its execution is on the card.
(2) CAPTAIN TATTERS got lost recently, but won big the last time we saw them on this course.
(11) PHEDRA jumps in class. It will be interesting to see how she goes.

RACE 8 (1,200M)
(2) CROWN PLAZA is doing well in her new garden and is clearly something that has to be beaten at this fairly open event.
(14) CONKER THE WORLD Last time was an unlucky loser. Good for this course and distance.
(6) As far as we know it could be better than rated and deserves some respect. Expect great success.
(1) NO GREATER LOVE performed well in their debut match and performed even better in their next start. Her third run was a huge disappointment and she has since changed trainers. Beware of exciting bets.
