A ministerial decision amending the provisions for regulating nurseries has been issued to obtain the entire validity period of the licence, to ensure that the licensee complies with the obligations specified in the regulations and annexes A security deposit of 5,000 won is required for the purchase, the Arabian newspaper reported. In addition, the new decision also stipulates that applicants must be Kuwaiti citizens, hold a diploma or university qualification or equivalent, and not be government or private employees.

The decision issued by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Fahd Al-Shariaan, specifies the period for reviewing applications, which is 10 days after submission to the Competent Commission, for both new applicants or renewers. Must be approved within 30 days. The applicant shall be notified in writing, including a statement justifying the decision, within one week of the issuance of the approval or rejection. The amendment also included a set of requirements for choosing a nursery location.
