DOHA: Al Sadd and Al Wakrah go head-to-head in a mouthwatering Group A match today. After contrasting starts in last week’s Ooredoo Cup, both teams are looking for points.

Al Sadd enter the Saud bin Abdul Rahman Stadium after defeating two-time defending champions Al Saiyayah 4-0 in their opening match, while Al Wakrah were stunned by Qatar SC in the first round. I’m trying to get back on my feet.

Al Wakrah beat Al Sadd 2-1 in their last QNB Stars League (QSL) match earlier this month. However, Al Sadd is looking to maintain his winning momentum as he seeks to reclaim his cup title over Ooredoo.

Meanwhile, Qatar SC and Umm Salal face off today at the Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium, seeking a second straight win.

Umm Salal also got off to a winning start by defeating Al Ahli in the opener.

Al Saiyah and Al Ahli will face off in their opening match today at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium as both sides seek their first win of the tournament.

Al Sadd led Group A on goal difference, followed by Qatar SC and Umm Salal.

Meanwhile, Al-Duhail are looking to maintain their group lead with Group B matches tomorrow.

After defeating Al Malhya 8-3 in their opening match, the Red Knights will face Al Arabi tomorrow at the Saud bin Abdul Rahman Stadium.

Current QSL leaders Al Arabi also got off to a winning start after beating Al Shamal 1-0 last week.

In tomorrow’s first match at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium, Al Rayyan and Al Malhya will look to open their accounts after suffering defeats in their previous matches.

Al Rayyan lost 3-4 to Al Gharafa in an exciting match.

Al Gharafa will face Al Shamal tomorrow at the same venue.
