A woman died in an accident on E18 near Hærland in Indre Østfold Municipality after her passenger car collided with a lorry.
The Eastern Police District confirmed this information to the newspaper Smaalenenes Avis.
“A person, the driver of a car, was taken to Carnes with unknown injuries. One passenger has been confirmed dead. The truck driver is not injured,” said the Eastern Police District Operations. manager, Atl Vestrop, said.
Vestrup also confirmed that the deceased was a woman. Police are working to notify next of kin.
The Eastern Police Department reported the accident at 8:16 pm on Tuesday.
The accident site was east of Meissen and the E18 was closed in both directions after the accident.
