The Simple Space, part of the Reykjavik Arts Festival, is an acrobatic show for the whole family. Seven performers push the physical limits of human abilities in an intimate and immersive experience. The show is held in 35 countries around the world and is open to people over the age of 7. The key is languageless performance, so anyone can come and enjoy the spectacle. JG

This year’s Nordic House Summer Course is inspired by the current exhibition “Experiment-Eider & Farmer”. This exhibition deals with the coexistence of common eiders and humans. Children will learn how to use Eider ducks and creative thinking, mixing design, art and nature. Reykjavik Botanical Garden experts have set up a special bio-exploration game in a bird reserve just outside the Nordic homes. Children learn about bird life, plants, wetlands, and gardening and compost. AP
