Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (AP) participates in the Rainbow Parade at the Oslo Pride on September 10th.

“I’m going to participate in that parade,” Støre told newspaper VG on Friday.

The rainbow parade will be held on Saturday, September 10th. It passes through the streets of the capital and ends with a solidarity rally at Contraskayaret in Akershus Fortress.

On the night of Saturday 25 June, 42-year-old Zaniar Matapour opened fire on two pubs in central Oslo, including the queer nightclub London Pub, killing two people and injuring dozens.

A pride parade scheduled for later that day was cancelled.
