Police have confirmed the death of a 57-year-old woman who visited Horseshoe Bay Beach.
A police spokesperson said: “Police and other first responders were dispatched following reports of a medical emergency at Horseshoe Bay Beach just after 3pm on Saturday, August 20. rice field.
“When police arrived, they confirmed that a 57-year-old female visitor had been pulled from shallow water by lifeguards on duty in an unresponsive state. was later pronounced dead on arrival at King Edward Memorial Hospital.
“An autopsy is required to determine the cause of death. No further information will be provided until next of kin are notified.
