A 30-year-old man has died following an altercation in Warwick and a ‘murder investigation has been opened,’ police confirmed.
A police spokesperson said: “Just after 8pm on Saturday, August 20, police received reports of a disturbance on the Astwood Walk at Warwick House. He was involved in an altercation with several other men. Two men were reported to have been stabbed after the attack.
“The injured were taken to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment. However, one of the men died of his injuries and the other remains hospitalized.
“A murder investigation has been launched and is headed by Major Crimes Unit Detective Jason Smith. Witnesses are asked to contact DI Smith directly at 717-0864 or jsmith2@bps.bm. .”
