Police confirmed the death of a 70-year-old man and said, “an autopsy is expected to determine the cause of death, but no misconduct is suspected at this time.”
A police spokesperson said:
“On arrival, there were no signs of life, and it was confirmed by the attending physician that death had been declared on the scene.
“The scene was legally dealt with by police and an investigation was initiated. An autopsy is expected to determine the cause of death, but no misconduct is suspected at this time.
“The Bermuda Police Service is aware of the social media posts that are circulating about the deceased. Anyone who may have information about the deceased, especially his movements before his death, to 211 It is encouraged to call the police.
“No further information will be provided until a close relative is notified.”
