“We have received complaints that mobile phones sold on the island cannot be activated by local carriers,” Bermuda Police said.

A police spokesperson said, “To anyone who may have recently purchased a cell phone, particularly an Apple device, and who may have been unable to activate the device because it is blocked by a US carrier, Sgt.
