Production began reportedly in Part 2 of Denis Villeneuve’s 2021 SF Epic Dune.

The film revives all-star casts such as Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin.

Business Wire reports that the new cast members include Austin Butler as the villain Fade Lauta and screen veteran Christopher Walken as Emperor Pradisha.

Florence Pugh and Léa Seydou will also participate in the ensemble.

The film revives an all-star cast that includes Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya (Ian West / PA).

In a follow-up to the Oscar-winning film, Paul Atreides (Sharamet) will work with Chani (Zendaya) and Flehmen to explore a journey of revenge on those who plot to destroy their families.

The script for Dune: Part Two was written by Villeneuve and Jon Spaihts and is based on Frank Herbert’s novel.

The film is reportedly filmed in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy.

It will be released worldwide on November 17, 2023.

Dune has been nominated for 10 Academy Awards and has won 6 awards, including the best original score, the best visual effects, the best cinematography, and the best editing.
