ESMS supports Qatar’s Sustainable Development Goals and meets the standards of Qatar’s 2030 National Vision..

The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) was held Thursday at QOC Headquarters and was awarded the Event Sustainable Management Certification (ISO20121: 2012 ESMS) at a certification ceremony attended by the State Secretary-General and Department Directors.

Bureau Veritas CEO Hussum Refaai and QOC employees also attended the ESMS awards ceremony.

This ESMS helps all organizations and individuals make sporting events and related activities more sustainable.

It supports Qatar’s Sustainable Development Goals and meets the standards of Qatar’s 2030 National Vision. In addition to reducing the environmental, social and economic negative consequences of hosting an event while developing QOC relationships with key stakeholders.
