DOHA: The Qatar Stock Exchange Index returned to the green zone at Monday’s open, adding 3.13 points with growth of 0.02% to reach 13,141 points compared to Sunday’s trading.

The improved performance of the Qatar Stock Exchange is due to growth witnessed by the industrial sector, which increased by 0.83%, the real estate sector, which increased by 0.81%, and the insurance sector, which increased by 0.19%. By contrast, the largest decline was recorded in the banking and financial services sector, at 0.37%.

At 10 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded a trading value of 155.524 million yen with 3,041 trades executed and distributed over 42.976 million shares.
