Quinten Ireland, a home developer owned by US private equity giant Lone Star, has received approval for a new home plan from Dun Laoghairsdown County Council.
His project is the development of Cherrywood Village in southern Dublin, which is understood to have a total development value of approximately € 86 million.
Quintain has obtained a building permit for 169 homes on 65 acres of land in Cherrywood’s Strategic Development Zone (SDZ). One of Ireland’s largest developers is set to begin construction this month, with the first homes ready to be occupied in late 2023.

Since its development began in 2020, Quintain has received over 10,000 expressions of interest from hopeful residents.
The company plans to develop a total of 1,300 new homes by 2025.
The plan includes 27 acres of park and green space, 4,300 square meters of retail and civic facilities, and is close to large corporations such as Vodafone and Microsoft in Sandyford and Del and Erabon in Cherrywood Science and Technology Park.
