The Macao Meteorological and Meteorological Agency has warned that frequent showers may occur over the next few days, adding that the general public needs to take precautions against floods.

The agency said the low-pressure valley in northern Guangdong is moving south and “sustainably affects coastal areas” from today.

Macau’s weather will be “more rainy”, with thunderstorms and heavy showers over the next few days. According to the Macau Post Daily, the agency urged the public to observe the latest weather information, take flood control measures and plan transportation in advance, as “thunderstorms are expected to occur frequently on weekdays.”
