Paramedics continue to comb the mouth of the Karand Canal near Rotterdam in search of a light aircraft carrying two people who crashed into the water on Sunday.
The plane left eastern Germany on its way to France, and it is not clear exactly when it crashed. A patrol boat at the Port of Rotterdam found some debris and personal belongings shortly before 7 pm.
Paramedics say the crash appears to be an accident and there is “no chance” to find a survivor.
