A man in his 20s has been charged with having sex with a child under the age of 16. The case will be heard in the Romerique and Glamdal district courts in November.
According to the indictment, the man had regular sexual intercourse with the girl for 12 months in 2019 and 2020, Romeriquez Blood wrote.
The girl was 13 when the relationship first started.
He has also been accused of possessing a film showing the two having sex.
According to the newspaper, the man has held important posts in a national youth religious group. He currently does not hold a position within the organization.
A trial is scheduled for November 23rd.
