Harry Kane set a Premier League record for the most goals scored by a single club by a Tottenham striker against Wolves on Saturday.

Kane’s 185th top-flight goal for Tottenham surpassed Argentinian striker Sergio Agüero’s 184th for Manchester City.

It is also Kane’s 250th goal in all competitions for Tottenham, 16 ahead of Jimmy Greaves and looking to become the North London club’s all-time top scorer.

The 29-year-old’s breakthrough moment came in the 64th minute at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when Ivan Perisic headed home from close range after flicking in the corner.

Kane scored his first goal of the season in a 2-2 draw with Chelsea last weekend, equalizing Aguero’s 184 with a header in injury time.
