Sharon Osbourne said the proceedings between his friends Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were “ugly for both,” but hope they can move on.
American actor Johnny Depp won a multi-million dollar defamation proceeding against former partner and aquaman star Hard last week. In a 2018 editorial she wrote in The Washington Post, his lawyer falsely accused him of being physically and sexually abused.
Talking about the proceedings, television host Osborne, 69, said in a morning show on Lorraine Kelly’s ITV:
“Listen, no one knows what’s happening between the two at home, all the ugly details.
“We all have ugliness in relationships, but their relationships were extreme. Hopefully they can move on.”
The jury agreed with Depp after a high-profile proceeding in Fairfax County, Virginia, which lasted a total of six weeks.
Osborne added that it was a “great night” to watch Depp on stage with Jeff Beck, who joined the musician for the rest of the UK tour.
“It was amazing,” she said.
