Taipei-Taiwanese singer Elva Hsiao, who was bitten by a dog in February 2021, left a scar on the right side of her face without makeup.

She shared three close-up photos of her face on Instagram last Saturday (July 9th) and wrote:

The 42-year-old has posted her photo since she was bitten by a dog, but usually the right side of her face is hidden by a mask, hands, or hair. She usually also appears in make-up.

Her looks have recently been placed under the microscope after a surprise appearance at the Golden Melody Awards earlier this month. So she announced that her work since the Naked Truth in 2020 has a comeback album.

The netizens then speculated that she was doing a nose job, which she subsequently denied on social media.

No stranger to comments on her appearance and rumors about going under the knife, she had previously done Botox for her forehead and admitted to undergoing binocular eyelid surgery.

She also had to undergo laser treatment for scars from dog bites.

Comments on her latest post were mostly positive, and fans praised her beauty and encouraged her to ignore trolls and denialists.
