Prior to Father’s Day in England, Sir Rod Stewart announced a special show in honor of his own deceased father.

His performance will take place on November 13th in Edinburgh and the venue will be announced shortly.

That’s because the singer will release a heartfelt video of his track Touchline, which appears on his acclaimed album The Tears Of Hercules.

A video featuring Sir Rod and his father playing soccer will be released on Friday, June 19th, before Father’s Day.

The Edinburgh Concert marks the beginning of a series of arena dates for singers performing at venues throughout the UK, including Nottingham, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Belfast, London, Birmingham and Manchester.

Some tickets for some shows will be donated to NHS frontline workers.

Sir Rod said: “If you know anything about me, you know that our dad’s love for football has the most certain impact on me and my brothers.

“The song Touchline was a homage to him. I was very happy and impressed to be able to take it to the ultimate level with a new video in time for Father’s Day.

“We just played a spectacular show at the Hollywood Bowl and are excited to tour both North America and the UK. We welcome both NHS workers and doctors and nurses at the forefront of these. It’s great to be able to do it for the last few years as our guest. “
