A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was seriously injured in a stabbing incident Friday night in Lemestad, Asker.
Police described those involved as an adult woman and an adult man. Their relationship was not revealed Saturday morning, Eivind Håndstad told NTB on Saturday morning.
“The woman has been charged with attempted murder. She has not been questioned,” Håndstad said at 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
The stabbing was performed outdoors in a public place.
“A crime scene investigation was conducted with interesting results,” Håndstad said when asked if police had found any weapons that may have been linked to the act.
The injured man was taken by ambulance to a hospital with serious injuries.
