Summer Sunday: City Funday iwill will take place on Sunday, July 17th at Victoria Park, featuring live entertainment, dance companies, Gombey, vendors, fun castles, prizes and more.
A spokeswoman said: “The City of Hamilton is excited to announce City Fun Day at Victoria Park on Sunday, July 17th, after a two-year forced break on a summer Sunday. From 1pm to 6pm. The general public can enjoy live entertainment, competitions, local bands, carnival games, dance companies, Gombay, vendors, fun castles, prizes, and lots of food and drink. Admission to the event is free. “
Tamara Smith, Senior Event and Marketing Coordinator, said of the event: This year’s goal is to continue expanding the concept of “Summer Sunday” by adding more children’s activities, prize contests and interactive elements for the whole family. “
“Summer Sundays in the park have become a staple of the city’s event calendar, celebrating local music and talent while providing a family-friendly day in the city to support local vendors.
“In the afternoon, hosted and moderated by Ed Christopher and Power Girl Patrina O’Connor. During the event, DJ Mystro will be in the park to keep energy levels high.
“The city is partnering with the local charity Big Brothers Big Sisters to raise a special” dunk tank “fund. In this fundraiser, try dunking all your favorite familiar faces.
“In case of bad weather, the rainy day is July 24th.
