Fans of the late David Bowie have heard former band member Gale Ann Dorsey speak on stage at the World David Bowie Fan Convention (Peter Byrne / PA).
The event, featuring art, sculpture and talk by former members of Bowie’s band, attracted fans from all over the world, including Japan, Switzerland and the United States.
Speakers include musicians Gale Ann Dorsey and Carlos Alomar, and graphic designer Jonathan Barnbrook, each sharing their own views on the artist’s lifework.

Bowie, one of the most influential and respected musicians of the 20th century, died of liver cancer on January 10, 2016, two days after his 69th birthday.
The Fan Convention will be held as part of his 75th year celebration.
