Early in the morning on Sunday 30 October 2022, the Swiss clocks will turn back one hour. Officially adjusted at 3am. This means you can stay in bed longer and wake up feeling lighter. Conversely, it gets darker in the evening.
Other parts of Europe adjust their clocks at the same time.
According to timeanddate.com, the sun will rise in Geneva on Sunday morning at 7:13am and set at 6:30pm. The extended night won’t return until Sunday, March 26, 2023, when the clocks advance his one hour at 2am.
On Sunday, we arrive in Zurich at 7:06 am, seven minutes earlier. Zurich is about 200 kilometers east of Geneva, so the day starts a little early.
