Moments later, Harlow, alongside Lil Nas X, won the night’s first Best Collaboration award for their track Industry Baby.

He has also worked with hip-hop stars Nicki Minaj and LL Cool J.

Video Vanguard Award winner Minaj delivered an explosive medley on arrival.

The US rapper said he ‘had never written a speech in his life’ but walked off stage and pulled out his phone to read a note when he received an award from members of his fan club Barbz .

The Red Hot Chili Peppers were then presented with Global Icon by US comedy stoner duo Cheech and Chong.
