Taylor Swift has released a new single titled “Written Alone at Midnight” for the upcoming movie “Where Crowdad Sings”.

His track, released late at night on Friday, reportsly plays the end credits for the movie version of the book by Delia Owens.

Swift, 32, shared a video of a movie clip on Instagram with the following captions: ..

Eleven-time Grammy winner, she said she was “absolutely lost” when she read this book and wanted to be part of the musical side of the production.

Produced by Reese Witherspoon, the film follows the story of Ka, a girl who lives alone in a swamp in North Carolina and is surrounded by the mystery of a local murder.
