More than 200 fans gathered early today (June 13) at the Ritz-Carlton to welcome Liverpool, who returned to the Republic for the first time since 2009.

The team arrived at the team bus in the evening, and Klopp was all smiling as he stepped into the cheers and waves.

Liverpool arrived on a short flight from Bangkok and lost to Manchester United 4-0 in their first pre-season friendly match at Rajamangala National Stadium on Tuesday.

The Reds will be competing in the Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy Crystal Palace on Friday and will take several days around Singapore to continue preparing for the next EPL season.

Among Liverpool’s 37-member team are Darwin Núñez and Fabio Carvalho, as well as fans’ favorites Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
