Mick Jagger tested positive for Covid-19 and urged the Rolling Stones to cancel the show in Amsterdam on Monday.

Featuring guitarists Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Steve Jordan’s drums, the band is on a 14-show SIXTY tour in 10 European countries.

A statement on behalf of the band said:

“The Rolling Stones deeply apologize for the postponement tonight, but we must prioritize the safety of our audience, fellow musicians, and tour crews.

“The show will be rescheduled at a later date. Tickets for tonight’s show will be respected on the rescheduled day. Wait for details.”

The band returned to the UK stage last Thursday at the Anfield Soccer Stadium.

Stones will also have two shows this summer at BTS Hyde Park in London.
