Hollywood star Barry Keoghan starred in the award-winning Netflix series Top Boy.
Dublin-born Marvel actor, 29, is one of the cast currently filming Season 3 of the Bafta Award-winning show written and created by Ronan Bennett.
The final chapter of the popular series began production in London with the addition of Keoghan to cast regulars Ashley Walters, Kane Robinson and Simbi Ajikawo.
Another Irish addition to this year’s cast is Peaky Blinders’ fame Brian Gleeson. Together with Keoghan, the pair will take on the roles of the new characters Jonny and Tadgh.
The Netflix series tells the story of two veteran drug dealers working on the sandy streets of London, where the pursuit of power and money is threatened by a ruthless Hassler.
The first four episodes of the series will be directed by Miriam Raja, who previously worked on Season 1 with Will Stefan Smith, who is responsible for the last two episodes.
The show was originally canceled by the broadcaster after being aired on Channel 4 in 2011 and 2013, but was restarted by the streaming service in 2019.
Meanwhile, it’s a busy time for Irish star Keogan, who confirmed last month that he would be his first father with his partner Allison Sandro.
He posted on Instagram on Father’s Day, saying “I want to cry honestly” and “Daddy of all dads” and shared a photo of the baby’s scan with his mother.
