Former U.S. President Donald Trump will testify next week in a civil investigation into the business practices of the Attorney General of New York, rather than the previously agreed Friday, according to someone familiar with the matter.

Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son Donald Jr. will also be cross-examined next week under an oath, he said.

A court order agreement on June 8 required all three to appear for testimony by the following week, beginning on Friday, July 15.

A spokesman for Letitia James, Attorney General of New York, declined to comment.

In January, a study found that the Trump Organization, which manages hotels, golf courses and other real estate, overvalued its assets to get a lucrative loan and underestimated its value to get a tax cut. He said he revealed important evidence.

Trump was trying to avoid cross-examination. Their testimony recording is not done in public.

Trump’s lawyer, Alina Haba, did not respond to requests for comment. Trump’s adult children’s lawyer declined to comment.

Republican Trump denied cheating and called for a politically motivated investigation that James was a Democrat.
