Musk and Twitter have been preparing for a court battle since Billionaire said it would withdraw from his April agreement to buy the company on Friday.

Brett Taylor, chairman of Twitter’s board of directors, tweeted on Tuesday that the board had filed a proceeding with the Delaware State Equality Court “to hold Elon Musk accountable for his contractual obligations.”
Delaware courts frequently handle business disputes between many companies, including Twitter.
