Singapore: Police are being investigated on Monday (June 6) for issuing a public warning after two men were seen holding a shotgun-like object in a video uploaded online. Said.

Police said he noticed the video around 10:10 am on Saturday. The footage showed an “unidentified man” holding an object like a shotgun.

Through ground and follow-up investigations, Criminal Investigation Bureau and Woodlands Police Department officials identified a 19-year-old man in the video and a 21-year-old man who posted the video.

“Preliminary investigations revealed that the object was a toy gun,” police said, adding that the investigation was underway.

Those who issue public warnings are liable for crimes that are punished under the Harassment Protection Act.
