Morning commuters gave a special cheer this morning [Aug 26] Dressed in striking pink, Mark “Queen of Bermuda” Anderson greeted the driver with “Happy Pride”.
Anderson, a longtime LBGTQI+ rights advocate and well-known local entertainer, told Bernews: Still have for acceptance and inclusivity.
“Despite our ethnic, religious, and cultural differences, we are more alike than dissimilar. The world has helped us create our unique union to celebrate our progress.
“I salute all activists, advocates, lawyers, and families who have stood by their loved ones even in difficult times. Thank you to all our brave allies who have spoken on our behalf. and show respect.”
