Singapore: Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan will stay in India from Wednesday (June 15th) to Friday.

He will chair the Special ASEAN-India Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in New Delhi on Thursday, co-chair with Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, and speak at the Ministerial Meeting of the Delhi Dialogue XII.

Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said at a press conference Wednesday that the meeting would commemorate the 30th anniversary of the dialogue between ASEAN and India.

Ministers will discuss ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between ASEAN and India and exchange views on regional and international development.

Dr. Balakrishnan also calls on India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with other ASEAN Foreign Ministers and ASEAN Secretary-General Lim Jock Hoi.

Dr. Barakrishnan, accompanied by MFA staff, will also hold separate meetings with his counterpart, Dr. Jaishankar, and other Indian ministers and members of parliament.
