Glastonbury is back this week for the first time in three years. This promises to be another important sight of musical talent and culture.
The long-awaited festival will welcome music fans to celebrate its 50th anniversary after the pandemic forced the organizers to cancel twice.
The festival runs from Wednesday to Sunday. If you are a participant or looking from a distance, you need to know the following:

The festival ensured a star-studded lineup for a victorious return, headlined by Sir Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish over the weekend.
The 20-year-old Irish will headline on Friday, making him the youngest solo headliner in festival history. Former Beatles Lord Paul will appear at the front desk on Saturday night. It will be the headliner for the second pyramid stage after the 2004 performance.
American rapper Lamar will make his debut at the festival on Sunday while closing the proceedings, and Diana Ross will play Legend Slots.

Glastonbury has many stages, and broadcasters don’t cover all of them, but they do offer content from pyramid stage headline shows to up-and-coming artists on the BBC Music Introduction stage.
Presenter Lauren Laburn will begin broadcasting from the gates of BBC Two’s Worthy Farm on Thursday at 10am when the first festival attendees enter the site.
Performance coverage will begin on Friday, with BBC Two, Three, and Four set in the evening, and headliner Eilish will air on BBC Two from 10 pm.
On Saturdays and Sundays, you’ll see highlights for a set of artists that air on four channels. Sir Paul’s headline performance will air on BBC One from 10:30 pm.
Soul singer Ross will air on BBC One from 6:45 pm and Lamar will air on BBC Two from 9:30 pm.
All shows will be available after being aired on iPlayer, and the BBC’s dedicated Glastonbury channel will also launch on Thursday, offering a four-day live performance and preview program.
