White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. announced that it has commenced a “Modified Dutch Auction” private tender offer to purchase up to $500 million worth of its common stock.
A spokesperson said: Less than $1,250 in cash per share, net of applicable withholding taxes, interest free.
“The tender offer will commence today, August 22, 2022 and, unless extended, will close at 12:00 midnight New York City time on the end of September 20, 2022. It closed at $1,305.13 per share on the New York Stock Exchange on August 19, 2022.”
