Macau will face a third mass test in the next two days as the current wave of Covid-19 rises further.

Staff at 61 test stations work from 9 am (27 June) on Monday to 6 pm (28 June) on Tuesday.

In the recently introduced new classification, nine zones are completely locked down (red code zone). Four of them were unblocked today and seven were downgraded from red to yellow. There are 14 preventive yellow zones in the city.

Social and Cultural Officer Ao Ieong U warned residents to stay at home as much as possible and to take a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before undergoing a nucleic acid test (NAT). She said the virus spread rapidly throughout the community, outbreaks in Avenida Horta e Costa, and moved north of its peninsula.
